The Civil War comes alive at Audubon State Historic Site in St. Francisville, La. On Friday Preregistered students will learn about life in the Felicianas during the Civil War. There will be Black powder weapon demonstrations, cannon demonstrations, open hearth cooking, drilling, life of a soldier, life on the Homefront, and more. Visitors on Saturday will see a recreation of the sights and sounds of St. Francisville in 1864 during the American Civil War. Throughout the day walk through the soldiers camps and see Living History demonstrations of soldier life. You will hear black powder weapon demonstrations of both rifle and cannons. Saturday will feature a small recreation of the October 1864 skirmish at Oakley Plantation which happened at the park. This is a good chance for reenactors to knock off the dust before the campaigning season opens. Drills planned include School of the Soldier, Skirmish, and Bayonet drills. We need Confederate and Federal Reenactors along with civilians. Crafts and demonstrations are encouraged. Period camping on site allowed through Sunday. We provide firewood and one meal. Preregistration required. Explore the nearby town of Historic St. Francisville one of the oldest towns in Louisiana complete with modern amenities. CANCELLED – The Army of Tennessee/ Army of the Tennessee is a non-profit 501-C3 organization dedicated to reenacting the life of the soldier of the War between the States in an accurate manner by presenting living histories and/or battle reenactments in order to teach the public about the terrible conflict during the years !861-1865.We welcome all like minded individuals and organizations to join us in our effort. Hate groups or groups that advocate overthrow of our present form of government are not welcome. Relive the turning over of the CSS Shenandoah to British authorities and HMS Donegal which was cancelled in Liverpool, England, 6 November 2015 as the vessel Zebu being used as CSS Shenandoah

sank at her mooring at the Albert Dock, thus the reenactment had to be postponed.  We would like to

invite all in the States whom are interested in allying with three UK Confederate Reenactment  Groups along with the Royal Navy re-enactors.  Confederate Navy Officer and Seaman as well as  Confederate Marine uniforms a must.  “Last Flag Down” of the Confederacy will include, memorial services and ceremonies to include tributes to the 100’s of Blockade Runners built in Britain where their efforts assisted in allowing the Confederacy  to continue the struggle for Independence for an additional  two years.  Bronze Markers will be dedicated and several European Confederate Medal of Honors will be awarded.  For more information  and registration forms,  Michael Reid @ 804-261-6847 or  email
